President Bola Tinubu presided over the swearing-in of eight newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, following their selection through the rigorous Federal Civil Service process.
The ceremony took place prior to the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja, on Monday.
The new Permanent Secretaries included Ndakayo-Aishetu Gogo; Adeoye Adeleye Ayodeji; Rimi Nura Abba; Bako Deborah Odoh; Omachi Raymond Omenka; Ahmed Dunoma Umar; Watti Tinuke, and Ella Nicholas Agbo.
Meanwhile, as at the time of this report, President Tinubu is currently presiding over the week’s FEC meeting, which is also being attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
The ongoing meeting is being attended by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume; the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan; the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, and Ministers.
