NNPC Raises Petrol Price by 15% to N1,030/litre

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has raised its pump price of petrol in Abuja by 14.8 per cent to N1,030 per litre from N897.

The latest price increase makes it the second time the petrol price has been hiked in the past month.

The company had in September increased pump price from N615 per litre to N897.

When Vanguard visited the NNPC Retail mega station in Abuja where the price increase has been effected, shocked motorists lamented the continuing hardship in the country.

“It’s beyond belief. I have been in the queue for almost an hour and I didn’t know they had increased the price. Tinubu is not concerned about our suffering”, a taxi driver, Usman Abah lamented.
