Lagos Assembly Sitting on Hold as Security Personnel Take Over Complex

The plenary scheduled for Monday morning at the Lagos State House of Assembly has yet to commence as security officials have taken over the assembly complex.

Reports indicate that no fewer than 10 police vans are stationed at the assembly gate.

Lawmakers are currently gathered outside the assembly chamber.

Sources revealed on Monday that Department of State Services officials had sealed the office of Speaker Mojisola Meranda.
