Renowned Nigerian prophet Primate Elijah Ayodele has warned Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen regarding a potential move to Chelsea.
The founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church cautions that such a transfer could adversely affect Osimhen’s career.
The prophet further advised the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to be cautious about calling up Osimhen to the national team if he joins Chelsea.
“I want to quickly advise as directed that Osimhen should not go to Chelsea because if he goes there, he will not shine and it will kill his career.
“NFF, if Osimhen should go to Chelsea, don’t call him again, and also calling him to the Super Eagles still needs to be reviewed properly because we have what it takes to the World Cup and Nations Cup,” Ayodele said.
Chelsea, in their quest for a reliable goalscorer, have identified the Napoli hitman as a top target following a failed pursuit of Atletico Madrid’s Samuel Omorodion.
Despite this, Chelsea remains intent on securing his services to strengthen their attacking lineup.
